Sunday Evenings

On Sunday evenings, our youth participate in the main worship service.  On a regular Sunday there are many youth in the congregation, some leading in worship through music, and many youth serving in Children’s ministries and other areas of service.  The time of worship is engaging and seeks to keep youth participating in worship, learning and fellowship. 

Youth in Service

At NewGate we want to provide our youth many opportunities to develop and use their spiritual gifts.  Teens help out in all areas of the church, set-up and tear down, music leadership, Summer ministries, they serve as Starting Gate teachers and helpers as well as Club DJ leaders and helpers.  Also our youth are encouraged to be active servants in their communities so they are people that make a difference for Christ everyday.

Change Conference is a ministry of Youth for Christ Canada, and they believe that transformed youth have the opportunity to transform communities, our country, and the world. The Change Conference aims to enages and equip youth to know and follow Jesus, and ultimatley share this with their communtiy.
